NXServer offers a new service called nxCloud. nxCloud is a cloud storage solution. Store and share your files, contacts, bookmarks, and calendar data securely and access it at anytime and from anywhere. Moreover, you can even share and stream music online. Furthermore, nxCloud supports WebDAV, CalDAV, CardDAV, remoteStorage (see below for more details) and is currently available to NXServer customers who are subscribed to one of our hosting packages.
remoteStorage is a new web protocol to make web apps easier for you. It allows you to use compatible web applications without the need for registering an account and while keeping your data in one place. With nxCloud, you will get a remoteStorage user address that looks like username@nxcloud.com – with that you can directly sign in to remoteStorage apps, and your ownCloud will be used as data storage. You can install the ownCloud files during checkout. During the checkout process, choose ownCloud from the “Script” dropdown menu in the 3rd step of the checkout process.
